Dayvara Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 27, 2026

Dayvara is designed to respect your privacy.

Data Collection

Dayvara does not collect personal information for the developer, create developer-side user accounts, or track you across apps or websites.

Dayvara does not maintain its own servers. It does not send your calendar, event, or reminder data to the developer. When you choose to connect a Google account (see below), Dayvara communicates directly between your device and Google’s own services on your behalf — never through the developer.

In Apple’s App Store privacy information, Dayvara declares “Data Not Collected,” meaning no data is transmitted off your device to the developer.

Calendar Access (Apple)

Dayvara uses Apple EventKit to access the calendars and events you allow through iOS permissions.

Calendar access is used only to:

Your calendar data remains on your device and in the calendar accounts you already use, such as iCloud, Google Calendar, or other calendars configured in iOS. The developer cannot access your calendar data.

Connecting Your Google Account (Optional)

Dayvara can optionally connect directly to Google Calendar to give you a richer experience for Google-based calendars — such as RSVP replies to invitations, editing recurring events, and faster, more reliable syncing. This is entirely optional; Dayvara works without it using Apple’s calendar access above.

If you choose to sign in with Google, Dayvara requests only the access needed to provide these features:

When signed in, Dayvara exchanges this data directly with Google’s APIs from your device. It is not sent to the developer or to any other third party. Google data Dayvara retrieves is cached locally on your device to display your calendar quickly, and is removed when you sign out of Google in Dayvara or delete the app. Your Google sign-in credentials are stored securely by Apple/ Google on your device and are never visible to the developer.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Dayvara’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, data obtained from Google is used only to provide and improve the user-facing features described above, is not transferred to others except as necessary to provide those features, is not used for advertising, and is not read by any human except where required for security, to comply with applicable law, or with your explicit consent.

Reminders Access

Dayvara can optionally show reminders alongside your calendar events.

Reminders access is used only when you choose to show reminders in Dayvara. Turning off Show Reminders hides reminders in Dayvara without changing your Reminders permission or modifying your reminder lists.

Your reminders remain on your device and in the reminder accounts you already use. The developer cannot access your reminder data.

Notifications and Alerts

Dayvara does not use its own push notification service for event alerts.

When you create or edit event alerts, those alerts are saved as Apple EventKit alarms and are delivered by Apple Calendar and iOS.

Analytics and Tracking

Dayvara does not use third-party analytics, crash reporting services, advertising SDKs, or trackers. Dayvara does not track you across apps or websites.

Network Access

Dayvara does not send your calendar, event, or reminder data to the developer or to any third-party advertising or analytics service. Network access is used only to communicate directly with Google’s APIs when you have chosen to connect a Google account, in order to sync and edit your Google Calendar data as described above.
